In House Sales Associate  - Part time

Are you interested in working at a financially solid, growing medical supplies company near Annapolis, MD? Do you have experience in sales or customer service? We are looking for someone who combines the best of these two for an inside sales position.

We are seeking a highly motivated entry-level in-house sales representative with excellent communication and telephone skills, strong initiative, ability to prioritize, and a desire to grow with the company. If you have experience in sales, customer service or in an allied health profession and are looking for a new challenge, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-       Manage long-term profitable relationships with customers

-       Grow sales volume with current and new customers nationwide

-       Prospect for new customers doing online search and following up on leads

-       Maintain customer account documentation

-       Participate in company promotions, training, and meetings

-       Occasional travel required for participation at medical trade shows

 

Qualifications:

-       Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette required

-       Organizational and time management skills required

-       College degree preferred

-       1-4 years sales or customer service experience required

-       PC skills, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets required

-       Proven success in medical sales and knowledge of medical terminology helpful but not required

This position is part-time (20 hours/week) with potential for more hours long term.

Web Content Specialist - Part Time

  • Are you flexible in your work schedule and able to do occasional travel?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creates, develops, acquires, delivers, and maintains quality and consistent content for the company web site based on management priorities, policy directives, and goals.

  • Monitors web usage and provides statistics for management reporting.

  • Ensures the website design and content meets the organization standards.

  • Writes and edits web content, including blog topics, that can be read by search engines and online audiences.

  • Optimizes web content using required style guides and graphic standards.

  • Reviews website regularly to ensure content accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.

  • Tests website accessibility and functionality from various environments

  • Manages links and cross-promotions with other sites. Anticipates emerging trends, technologies, needs, and potentialities as they pertain to the organization. 

  • Searches out and evaluates products to meet customer demands.

  • Negotiates with and establishes vendor relationships to optimize product offerings that meet financial objectives.

Position starts at 30 hours per week with expected growth to full time. Benefits begin to accrue at 32 hours and include health insurance, generous Paid Time Off and paid holiday time. Position reports to company President.
