Description
The in-house sales associate represents 3-Point Products to its existing and prospective customers nation-wide through telephone contacts and e-mail/fax follow up. The contact database is primarily drawn from in-house customer accounts and databases and from sales leads collected from advertising, trade shows and other marketing efforts. Additional cold calling is a significant portion of the job. Possibly participate in one or more trade shows per year and select in-person customer visits with other staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Manage long-term profitable relationships with customers.
- Grow sales volume with current and new customers.
- Determine and implement follow up services including product sampling and on-sight visits (where applicable) to facilitate sales.
- Prospect for new customers.
- Maintain customer account documentation including contact lists, telephone logs, customer response and follow up call schedules.
- Participate in company promotions, training, and meetings.
- Occasional travel required for participation at medical trade shows.
- In-house sales associate reports to the company Sales Director.
Qualifications:
- College degree with 2-4 years commensurate sales experience preferred.
- Highly motivated individual with strong initiative, ability to prioritize and a desire to grow with the company.
- Proven success in medical sales and knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette a must.
- Detailed organizational and time management skills required.
- PC skills, including e-mail, word processing, excel and database management required.
