Oval-8® Finger Splints

describe the image"Have an untreated mallet finger that turned into a swan neck deformity (think)...went to Hand Therapist yesterday (1st time) and she introduced your Oval-8 splints to me:  THANK YOU!!!  First relief from throbbing (sometimes awful, always there) for first time in 16 years."
- Aimee, Oregon

"I have used these for several years and continue to issue them for a few simple reasons:  they are quick to fit, patients really like the immediate result and comfort and in a busy clinic, reissuing them is a cinch!  Highly recommend them for uncomplicated patients when prefab is the need of the day!"
- Deb H., MS, OTR/L, CHT - Vermont Sports Medicine Center

"I personally use the Oval-8 splints when I have a patient who needs to test out a PIP or DIP support before deciding to purchase a Silver Ring Splint.  It is a nice way to find out if the support is right for them and they don't need to spend the money up front.  They usually love the way they can still make a full fist and function in the Oval-8 and some never even want to change over to the jewelry based splints.  I also love these splints for patients who are recovering from a PIP dislocation and need to be blocked into flexion to allow their volar plate to heal.  Thank you for making a great product!"
- Ildiko, OTR CHT - West Orange, NJ

"I tried everything else on an older lady who couldn't tolerate the metal rings or anything I made her. She has very thin skin from years of Prednisone use. She found the Oval-8 rings to be very comfortable and loves the way they control her fingers. For the amount of time I spent trying to fit her with other things I could have bought the whole Oval-8 Kit and still saved money."
- K. C., Delaware

"We really love the ring splints. We are using them for collateral instability and for fractures. For patients with acute avulsion fractures we give them two, one that fits now and one that will fit when their swelling goes down. They are inexpensive enough that we can do that. Our patients are really happy with them."
- Jody, Wisconsin

"The Oval-8 rings are great. We are even using them to hold finger positions during x-ray."
- Gloria

"I tell people - these [splints] are the difference between Neiman Marcus and K-Mart. They feel like Neiman Marcus but the prices are closer to K-Mart".
- L. G., Baltimore, Maryland

"Recently I celebrated my 50th birthday and a friend told me to "get ready for aches and pains" because after 50 her body fell apart. As a hand therapist I have taught patients with arthritis to protect their joints when they were swollen and inflamed by wearing splints. It seemed like overnight after my birthday when the tips of my finger joints (DIP jts) started to swell and ache. I know several people with Heberden's nodes also affectionately referred to as "knobby fingers" by their owners. Well, I was in a panic I didn't want to be deformed with knobby bunions on my fingertips. I routinely apply figure 8 splints to fingertips with arthritis and tendon injuries. So I applied the figure 8 splints to my inflamed fingers. I wore the splints constantly for a week and then at night for another week. Now I wear them only when my joints ache. The swelling disappeared and has not returned. In the future I plan to educate patients to use the splints for prevention of deformity. Thank you Julie for providing this excellent splint for all of us."
- P. B., MS, OTR/L, CHT

3pp® Buddy Loops®

describe the image"Our clinic gets the Oval-8 splints from you and we have recently got the buddy straps – We all love the straps!"
- Judy H, OTR/L - DMOS Hand Therapy Clinic

"As an occupational therapist and the international sales associate for 3-Point Products, I never thought I would become a patient and use one of our top selling products. While walking my 2 labs, I sustained a hand injury which necessitated surgery and hand therapy. The Buddy Loop provided the protection, comfort and convenience that I needed. I can't recommend this product enough!"
- D. M., OTR/L, North Carolina

"I think your Buddy Loops are total genius!"
- A. A. OTR/L, CHT, Seattle, WA

"Thanks for the super fast service – yesterday I received the Buddy Loops that I ordered Thursday afternoon and they fit my needs perfectly.  I broke my pinkie finger about a month ago and had the cast removed on Thursday, but my orthopedist wants me to ‘buddy tape’ the finger for another 4 weeks with tape above and below the bottom knuckle.  And frankly within an hour of having it taped at the doctor’s office with regular ½” adhesive tape, I knew that would be too big of a pain for me to deal with.  The tape rolled up when I bent my hand, and every place where the adhesive was exposed it tried to cling to itself or anything that I touched.  It seemed to get dirty in a minute, and had to be replaced when I got it even slightly wet.  And that was when the fun started.  It is just not easy to cut and wind tape when you don’t have full use of both hands.  So, I went on-line to see if there were any better way to do the taping and fortunately found your Buddy Loops which provide an even better alternative.  The easy-to-follow video made the sale – and when the actual product came, I was not disappointed.  I have been using two of the ½” loops for more than a day and other than the general inconvenience that comes with having one finger holding another hostage, I couldn’t be happier with the product.  I especially like the fact that I can easily take them off and on when I need to wash my hands or shower.  In fact, I am going to recommend that my orthopod look into Buddy Loops as a far superior alternative to tape when he decides that buddy taping is the appropriate course of treatment/therapy."
- J. B., Maryland

"The patients love the extremely soft & comfortable material (no rough edges or itchy straps); Buddy Loops are extremely easy to use which helps with patient compliance."

SkinSational®

describe the image“I love it! My acne has cleared up a little since I have started to use it!” (Testimonial received after only 3 days of use!)
- Liz C, Bellingham, MA

"Both my husband and I have come to love your SkinSational brush, he to deal with a sudden case of adult acne and me to help with scars left from skin biopsies. I have to say I was a little skeptical at first, but there is a clear improvement in both cases. Thanks for such an inexpensive and effective solution!"
- Carolyn, Union Dale, PA

"I have found your SkinSational product to be very beneficial for my patients with post-operative edema. I usually have them begin a manual edema mobilization program utilizing u-shaped strokes to stimulate the lymphatic system to decrease their edema. One of the challenges to this is teaching patients how to correctly perform the strokes so they are not pressing too hard and collapsing the lymphatic vessels or so they are not just flatly rubbing over the skin and never really stimulating the lymphangions or vessels. With your SkinSational tool, the patient almost can't do it wrong, The rubber grips the skin nicely to help stimulate the lymphangions and also makes it difficult to push too hard and collapse the vessels. Maybe it's the novelty of getting something new, but the patients also seem to like the idea that they have a special tool for the job. It really motivates them to stick with the program and of course, that really helps them have positive results in a short amount of time."
- C.R., OTR/L, CHT, Midwest

"I have had 6 reconstructive surgeries following a mastectomy. The scars were really thick and hard to massage with my arthritic fingers. A friend told me about the SkinSational and I bought it with the gel sheeting and lotion. This little brush is amazing. In just a week, my scar got soft and stopped thickening up when I wasn't massaging it. This thing really worked and with the Gel Mate, my scar looks better now than it has in 7 years. I really recommend the kit as it has everything you need to treat surgery scars."

"I tried this on my face (with water and soap) and it also works for giving me a fresh "glow" and for removing blackheads over time."

"I have been working as a nurse/ massage therapist for 15 years. My hands and fingers work very hard 5 days a week all day long. I saw the SkinSational Massager in a catalog and thought it might be beneficial for me to use on my own fingers and hands. It is very helpful indeed. After every massage i take the SkinSational Massager and stroke my fingers individually focusing on each phalangeal joint and the metacarpals. What is the advantage of the SkinSational Massager is that it creates traction between the cutaneous and subcutaneous tissues and it can be used superficially or deep. This is why it is so helpful for mobilizing lymphatic flow. I also use it to stroke down the sternocleido mastoid muscle in the neck from the mastoid process to the clavicular and sternal attachments and then posterior to the clavicals to stimulate the post clavicular lymph nodes as well. On my clients i also use it on the dorsal surface of the feet to enhance lymphatic flow as well. I have given this little brush to many clients and friends who have achy and stiff fingers to do self care. It is an amazing tool. and I am so happy I found it. I think this product should be promoted to massage therapists. I highly recommend it. The people at 3 Point Products are helpful and efficient as well."
- Ellen, Nurse, Massage Therapist, Madison, WI

Scar Rx™

describe the image"After my Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery my incision site was red, hypersensitive & just plain "Angry" looking.  My doctor prescribed Cordan Tape to take away the sensitivity, but the scar was still red, raw and very noticeable.  My Hand Therapist, Marie, suggested that I get Scar Rx.  After using your Scar Rx Massager (one of my favorite parts of therapy) it really reduced the sensitivity on my incision.  The Gel Mate Sheet made my scar barely noticeable....so well in fact, that most people can't even see that I had surgery.  Your product is FABULOUS...I don't know what you have in the Gel Mate Sheet, but it truly works miracles!  Thank you so much for supplying great products."
- Carol Cipollini (Pennsylvania)

"Great stuff for making scars go away. My hand therapist recommended this after I had hand surgery. The brush really softened my scars and the gel sheets were easy to wear and made my hand more comfortable. Great combination with the lotion and oil. A hint - the lotion bottle is hard to squeeze so I just emptied the bottle into another container to keep in my purse."

"I really like having the massage tool and the lotion. My doctor told me to massage as often as possible and use the gel in between. It really seems to soften my scar and gel cushions it so it does not hurt while it is healing."

Gel Mate® Silicone Gel Sheet

describe the image"I have had multiple surgeries to reconstruct my breast after a mastectomy. Using gel sheeting really has helped keep the scars soft. The best part is that it keeps the scar from itching and when I wear it under a bra it cushions the scar so it does not hurt. I have used other sheets in the past but this one has a smooth cover that keeps it from sticking to my clothes. The last gel I used only lasted about a week before it fell apart. I have used this sheet for 4 weeks and just wash it to keep it sticky. I would really recommend this to anyone with breast scars."

SacredEarth™ Botanicals Oil

describe the image"I had eye surgery a few months ago and a friend told me about this oil for massaging the scars. I was afraid of using anything that close to my eyes but I really needed something to moisturize while I did the massage my doctor insisted on. This oil is really light, did not sting or irritate and did a great job. It was a lot easier to massage my scars and it made my skin really soft. It is not greasy. Great stuff. If I had more scars I would buy the bigger bottle."

3pp® Toe Loops®

describe the image"My daughter-in-law gave me some toe loops she received from your company when she noticed I had a problem with my 4th toe turning under. I had surgery for hammer toes months prior and was given a toe splint by the attending physician. This particular toe splint was worn over two toes and provided a support for the fourth toe to keep it straight. Needless to say, it was costly, cumbersome, and required a lot of upkeep since it was under my foot. Do to frequent wear and tear from exercising, walking, and golfing, the pad became very worn all too frequently from perspiration. They also require more room in your shoe. I also found that the straps around the toe came loose very frequently and I had to adjust them all the time.  Thank goodness for the "Toe Loops". They are light, comfortable, wash easily, and wear well. They work extremely well for my needs. They come in various sizes depending on your needs. I even feel comfortable wearing them with sandals or open-to-shoes. The new color is skin tone which blends better than the white for this purpose. I am prolonging any future surgery on this toe because the "Toe Loops" have solved my problem."
- B.H., Columbia, Maryland

3pp® Final Flexion Wrap™

describe the image"I have been using the final flexion wrap for years with great success.  I have tried everything from cut out exam gloves, to elastic bands, splinting and everything in between.  Years ago I was introduced to the final flexion wrap and was impressed.  Of course, as typical, I wanted to try it myself.  I wore the final flexion wrap to get the feel and grasp of the product.  I liked it and then started issuing the final flexion wrap to my patients.  I have had hundreds of patients through the year that have used this product with great success.  Not only is it affordable, it is sleek, it is as comfortable as it can be for a product bending a finger beyond what it wants to go, and it was washable.  The patients often told me they had great control wearing the splint and it is so easy to put on and they often carried it in their pocket or purse for immediate and frequent use.  Because of the ease of wearing the final flexion wrap I saw great carry over for home program which I know without a doubt my patients regained motion quicker when they incorporated the final flexion wrap into their daily routine."
- Nancy Falkenstein, OTR/L, CHT

3pp® ThumSling™ NP

describe the image“I (and my patient) liked the feel of the material and ease of use – thank you!”
- Emilee J., OTR CHT

“I like the option of using the thumb support piece when additional support is needed.  Light and easy to take care of.”
- Gail G., OTR CHT

3pp® Arch Lift™

describe the image“After the first time I put on the Arch Lift I went on a 6 mile run. Not only did I not have any pain afterwards but I also took 5 seconds off per mile. The primary thing I like about it is that I don’t hobble after a run like I used to without it. I am very satisfied with the product.”
- W. T., Runner - Katy, Texas
